Originally from Leicestershire, UK - Craig has more than 20 years of recruitment experience, helping businesses appoint high-performing Sales and Marketing professionals across both FMCG and B2B sectors. He also brings extensive specialist expertise in Category Management and NPD recruitment within the FMCG and consumer markets.

 

Having started his FMCG career with Unilever, Craig combines first-hand industry experience with an extensive professional network and a strong understanding of the commercial challenges facing businesses and candidates. In November 2012, he joined London-based recruitment start-up Vertical Advantage to establish its first regional operation. The Midlands office opened in April 2013, supporting FMCG businesses across the Midlands and North of England.

 

Craig founded Henson Recruitment in January 2016, creating a specialist consultancy built around targeted search, honest advice and a genuinely personal service.

 

Based in Auckland, New Zealand since 2021, Craig works with businesses within FMCG & B2B sectors across NZ. His targeted, search-led approach enables him to identify and engage experienced professionals who businesses are unlikely to reach through advertising alone.
